Yuma Sub Update
From the service unit…
Everything is going well and we have a projected opening of 2100 to 2200 hrs. We are going to start calling trains very soon
Brothers,
The Yuma sub is shut down at this time. Equipment enroute to build back up. No ETA on when it will open at this time.
Update – between Mecca and Mortmar
Coachella Valley Water District estimates 5 to 6 hours to divert the water flow into the channel before we can begin to build up the tracks……..
10 trains on the subdivision immediately affected. Crew Support has been notified to work with van vendors to gear up for additional demand over the next 36hr.
We are working on plans to drag out trains from Colton and go around the horn to park on the LA sub. Basin crews will be called to stage trains.
I will notify when we have an estimated opening time……….
All calls shut off until ETO is established.
UPDATE—–
Rock showing up now water slowing to a manageable level. Starting the dirt work now.

Brothers,

I have had alot of questions regarding the RE17 pool. I apologize I’ve had alot of discipline to handle in the last week.
Bill Bowman (CMS Manpower) contacted me Wednesday August 15 to tell me they were going to add four (4) turns to the jp016 re17 pool Monday. Because this is a zeroed out pool they dont have to advertise just start pulling from the permanent bid list.
The plan is to start with 4 turns and go from there , what you will be doing :
mostly ILBLB work going east and possibly patching long pool trains short on time coming west. You are under the Basin Flat Rate….However there are some Very Important Caveats in this agreement .
