DOLORES- YUMA (JP016 RE31)Self-Supporting pools are operated on a first in/first out basis.When a pool turn becomes Unavailable, the turn will be deactivated until the assigned Engineer marks up.

The next available Engineer becomes first out and stands for call. Upon mark up, the turn and employee will then become activated and begin working its way up the board.In the event the pool becomes exhausted with all employees in rest or no employees available, the first available extra board employee will be used on a made-up turn within the pool.

An Engineer observing undisturbed rest will continue to move up the board and will remain first-out when they reach that position.The pool turns of an Engineer observing FR will rotate up the board and remain first out when that position is reached.

The mechanics of a Self-Supporting Pool operate similarly to the extra board concept with basic board handling. As an employee is laid off, they become unavailable and there is no turn that is filled, and next available on the board is subject to call; hence the term Self Supporting pool.

The re31 will not have xb turns on it unless the pool is exhausted. That also will mean trades and holddowns will be affected. No turns for xb to HD, and trades will have to be turn to turn .
